Divine wisdom: The passage, “And He found you lost and guided you”QN93:7 and “My success is only by Allah”QN11:88, reminds us to always choose wisely and well because, like surgeons going into operating rooms, executives launching new business ventures, we all get to choose our outlook each day. In other words, as English literary figure, Samuel Johnson so aptly stated, ‘He who has so little knowledge of human nature has to seek happiness by changing anything but his own disposition, will waste his life in fruitless efforts, and multiply the grief…he proposes to remove.’
In other words, even though life rolls in seasons, your attitude determines what you get out of life.
So let the knowledge that a joyful outlook:
1) Gives us the winning edge;
2) Determines how others respond to us;
3) Brings happiness; and
4) Always brings the best result;
Teach you to approach every task this last few days in 2021, with eyes firmly fixed on God’s promises for you in 2022 and beyond!
