Divine wisdom: The passage,
“You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves” QN3:186, reminds us that God has certainly created the world as a training and testing ground. Hence, we should dismiss the notion that God does not see our struggle because, though He is fully engaged, He sees the needs of tomorrow and, accordingly, uses our circumstances to create the test of today which He has the authority to do, after all, He is the Potter and we are the clay, the Shepherd and we the sheep, the Gardener and we the branches, the Perfect Teacher and we the students.
In other words, if we trust His training, we will get through because all tests are temporary and limited in duration.
So let the knowledge that:
1) We cannot shorten our testing period, but we can definitely lengthen them by being proud, stubborn and resisting what God wants to teach us;
2) He won’t deny us that choice, but neither will He protect us from the consequences of our choice; and
3) If we have a good understanding of His ways, we gain His favour, but for those who are unfaithful, everything will seem hard;
Teach you, to remember that “With every difficulty, there is relief” QN94:5. So In case, you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trial, to do it His way, in Patience and Gratitude, for that indeed is the best way, always!
Pray with me: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the knowledge that is of no benefit, from a supplication that is not heard, from a heart that does not fear You and from a soul that is not satisfied. Ya Allah, benefit me by that which you have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and guide me by Your power to achieve greater success in every area of my life and be grateful to You in all things. Amin.
Good morning. Jumah Mubarak and have a splendid weekend!
