Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“So Allah gave them the reward of this world, as also an excellent reward of the next; and Allah loves those who do good.” QN3:149, reminds those of us who find ourselves wrestling with things like out-of-control grips on situations, resentment or fearfulness that indeed, lasting change comes from having our minds renewed daily by the Word of God, but because it is a process which can only be developed in stages, we must learn to be patient and while at it, live in the moment.
In other words, if we are consistent in studying His Word, we will grow spiritually.
So let the knowledge that:
1) Just like The Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w) led and won various battles against injustice and oppression, one at a time, we will conquer our weaknesses one day at a time; 2) As we agree with God and believe what He says in His Word, we will start to think differently, talk differently and act differently; and
3) To be all He wants us to be, we must learn to enjoy life, while going through the transformation process;
Teach you, rather than spend your time trying to rush into the future; to stay focused, strategize and keep right on walking!
Pray with me: O Allah! Make Your divine mercy to speak for me and The Truth in Your Word purge me of anything contrary to Your wishes. Impact me that the fear of You may take me over completely that no thought of evil will have a place in my heart. Make my ways be so pleasing to You, and soften the hearts of my enemies towards me and cause them to work together for my progress by Your Mercy.
