Divine Wisdom: The Passage and the first verse of the Quran breathes the spirit of peace –
“In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate”, reminds us that, The Quran calls its way “… The ways of peace …” QN5:16. It describes reconciliation as the best policy – QN4:128 and states that God abhors any disturbance of peace – QN2:205. Hence, because the Prophets also faced all the same tests that we are currently facing, when it comes to Godlike compassion, God always relates and responds to the needs of others, it is also comforting to know that, no matter what our situation, challenge or adversity, He feels it and can relate.
In other words, whatever the pressure, rejection, pain, temptation, slander, lies or false accusations, Our God understands.
So let the knowledge that:
1) Compassion has no limits;
2) It gets its hands dirty, writes cheques, sacrifices its own agenda, schedule, desires and dreams just to meet the needs of others; and
3) We have been called to action on a practical level and anything less, will make our compassion meaningless;
Teach you, today, to ask for the grace to know the difference between looking good and being good and then step out in grace to conquer!
Pray with me: O Allah! Enrich me with Your words, imbibe me with the spirit of compassion, teach me ways to embrace all around me and to give thanks to You always. Do not weaken our expectations before You favour us with Your blessings. Make this new week a new source of blessings for me and my household, by Your grace. Amin
Good morning and have a week full of abundant blessings!
