“Give charitably from the good things you have acquired and that We have produced for you from the earth. Do not give away the bad things that you yourself would only accept with your eyes closed: remember that God is self-sufficient, worthy of all praise.” Surah Al-Baqara – QN2:267
Say: “O Allah! As we approach the month of Ramadan, I commit myself and my family unto You, I hold on to Your promise that You will “bless us from sources we never can imagine.” Help us rise to the challenge that you set before all of us, that we might share your wondrous gifts of sustenance, faith, hope and joy in this world and hereafter. Teach our hearts to give freely without counting the cost. Lord, have mercy and hear us.”
