Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Call upon ME, I will respond to you” Surah Ghaafir – QN40:60 and “Whomever God Guides, is rightly guided…” Surah Al-Khaf – QN18:17, reminds us that, the Lord alone is our refuge, our place of safety, our God and the One we trust, He will rescue us from every trap and protect us from deadly diseases, He will cover us with his feathers, shelter us with His wings, His faithful promises are our armour and protection, and though many may fall at our side and thousands are dying around us, Allah “will help you with a thousand of the angels each following one another in succession.” Surah Al-Anfaal – QN8:9, and assuredly, no evil force will touch us.
In other words, if we make Him our shelter, no evil will conquer us and no plague will come near our homes.
So let the knowledge that:
1) The Lord Almighty will rescue those who love Him and protect those who trust in His Name;
2) When we call on Him, He will answer and be with us, rescue and honour us and reward us with long life and His Salvation; and
3) Each time we speak His Word over our lives, we release the power contained in it;
Teach you, this new week, to stand firm and expect Him to honour His Word!
Pray with me: O Allah! Thank You for another day, a new week. I commit myself and every member of my family, my team and loved ones unto You. Drench us perpetually in Your protection that no evil or plague should come over or around us. Help us fulfil Your beautiful promises for us this week and forever. Amin!
