Divine Wisdom: The passage “Do not lose heart nor fall into despair…” Surah Aal-i-Imraan – QN3:139, because “My mercy embraces all things” Surah Al-A’raaf – QN7:156, reminds those of us who, in times of despair, tend to say, ‘I’m just keeping my head above water’, to learn from seasoned swimmers who, stroke by stroke, take what’s in front and push it behind, letting it propel them towards their goal.
In other words, we should take what stands between us and our goal, and use it to get there.
So let the knowledge that:
1) Fear is like water; if we let it, it will take us under;
2) We can only tread water for so long before we drown;
3) When we reach a certain point, there’s no turning back; and
4) Faith is like the air in our lungs; it will sustain us and keep us afloat if we just relax;
Teach you, this new year to relax and take things in as they come, and when docked into a corner with nowhere to turn, to rather turn to God, step out in faith, keep right on walking and thank God for witnessing the first Friday of Hijrah 1443!
Pray with me: O Allah! Make us from those who submit to You and also make our offsprings to be of those who submit to You. Amin
Good morning. Jumah Mufeedah and happy weekend!
