FORGIVENESS, LIKE A TWO-EDGED SWORD, HAS TWO SHARP EDGES!

Divine Wisdom: The passage, “… So fear Allah and amend that which is between you.” Surah Al-Anfaal – Q8:1, reminds those of us who have particular talents and are yet to be blessed with success that, it may be that others have something against us which we are yet to settle.

In other words, our wounded egos may be getting in the way of our talents being recognised and received.

So let the knowledge that:
1) The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results;
2) Forgiveness, like a two-edged sword, has two sharp edges; and
3) Prayer and the presence of an affirming friend can provide us with the peace of mind we seek;
Teach you to share your feelings with someone worthy of your trust and pray with them, openly confessing your wrongs and the guilt you feel, and thereafter, put the issue behind you, move on and Thank God it’s Friday!

Pray with me: O Allah The Omnipotent, I surrender myself to You, spirit, soul and body. I ask that You direct my steps and meet me at every point of my needs as I move forward in obedience to Reconcile every wrong done to and with fellow human beings. Grant me a new lease of life that I may Glorify Your Greatness every day of my life. Amin!

Good morning. Jumah Toyyibah and a great weekend ahead!

There is love in sharing
