Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills.” Surah Al-Baqara – QN2:261, reminds us just as The Prophet (s.a.w), showed people how wealth could be found, He said, “Spend, and do not count, lest Allah counts against you. Do not withhold your money, lest Allah withholds from you. Spend what you can and receive multiple Blessings”; such that when they failed at something, He motivated them to get up and try again, but this time around, using His methods of The Lord’s commandment to every one of us, which is ‘Spend on others, and I will spend on you’, noting that every one of us has received something from God that is capable of reproducing, the secret is in being willing to put it into His hands.
In other words, our financial harvest is determined by what we spend, what we save, and what we sow into His kingdom.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God wants us to succeed, to have the resources needed to fulfil His will and to help others do the same;
2) He is our unfailing source of supply and He encourages us to expect a harvest on every seed we sow; and
3) Giving, not withholding, is the way to multiply that which has been given to us;
Teach you, that Charity does not decrease wealth because “Those who spend in charity will be richly rewarded.” QN75:10. Hence, this new week, keep sowing and expecting to reap bountiful harvests even before the end of the year, Ma Shaa Allah!
Pray with me: O Allah! I thank You for Your love and gifts of sustenance. I beseech You to inspire me with the wonderful deeds of the Prophet (s.a.w). Please nourish my heart with the art of giving as I seek Your face to make my life more beautiful and impactful. Amin!
Good morning and have an impactful week full of pleasant surprises!
