Divine Wisdom: The passage, “Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people” Surah Yusuf – Q12:87, reminds us of the fact that, when we as believers complain, it’s like an accusation against the Lord to whom we’ve trusted our lives, because God has promised us “relief after every hardship” Surah Ash-Sharh – Q94:6.
In other words, difficult times are challenges which we must build the strength through faith to always overcome, rather than grumbling or complaining.
So friend, let the knowledge that:
1) God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him;
2) Gratitude, not grumbling, motivates God to work on our behalf; and
3) Thanksgiving, which expresses appreciation for everything God has done and what He promises to do, and which shows confidence that He’s in charge, is the opposite of complaining;
Teach you, when you go through tough times, not to resort to complaining, but instead, praise God in spite of what’s happening!
Pray with me: O Allah! Life is full of hardship and trials, I give You thanks because You have been my shield and strength. Draw me nearer to You and grant me Your wisdom and understanding to pull out of every struggles victoriously. Amin thunmo Amin!
