GOD DOES NOT MIND GETTING INVOICED ON OUR BEHALF AS LONG AS HE GETS THANKED FOR IT!

Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“If you are grateful, I will surely give you more and more” Surah Ibrahim – QN14:7 reminds those who only pray when they need something or give thanks only when they receive something pleasing to their hearts, that God’s reward for your gratitude is unlimited and unconditional. Everything that happens to us – even events that we may consider to be personal afflictions or natural disasters-are from God. Therefore, in times of calamity and distress, there will be some good for us, provided we respond appropriately, and in fact, if the only time our spouses and friends ever communicated with us was when they were in trouble or had a need which they couldn’t meet, the chances are that we would have frosty relationships.

In other words, there must be a balance between our praises and our actions. Hence, it will do us a lot of good if we start harbouring and intending good for all of Allah’s creation, celebrating the praises of Allah at all times, use God’s blessings in your life to benefit humanity and please God.

So let the knowledge that:
1) God has always loved us with an everlasting love and drawn us to Himself with unfailing love;
2) He can deal with us solely on the basis of His righteousness and our proclivity for unrighteousness, but He chooses not to; and
3) He does not mind getting invoiced on our behalf as long as He gets thanked for it;
Teach you, because He always answers when we cry out to Him, to take a moment and recall His loving kindness to you and appreciate God’s favours!

Pray with me: O Allah! I thank You, I praise You for you have been so kind to me and my household. Please grant us your protection and inspire us to listen to Your call and bless us as we strive in our efforts to please You. Amin.

Good morning. Jumah Kareem and a Beautiful weekend ahead!
