Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation, but He intended to test you in what He has given you; so vie one another in good works. To Allah is your return all together.” Surah Al-Maaida – QN5:48, reminds us that, just as if we are adopted, it means our parents could have chosen us on their own because they could have picked a different gender, colour, or ancestry; but because we are for Him and with Him, irrespective of who we are, we are encouraged to live our lives like one adopted family competing in good deeds and seeking His affection; and entitled to call upon Him anytime and anywhere and He listens, responds and become part-owners in His treasures.
In other words, He saw our entire lives from the beginning to the end and was still convinced to adopt us into His family.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God does not accept us because of our pedigree and neither does He reject us because of our dumb choices;
2) If He loves us, we must be worth loving and if He wants us in His kingdom, then we must be worth having there; and
3) Dividing walls of hostility are broken down and communities are created on the basis of a common belief;
Teach you, as Believers who can always call upon Him, to always approach Him with freedom and confidence!
