Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“And seek the betterment of the Ultimate Abode with what Allah has given to you, and do not neglect your share from this world” Surah Al-Qasas – QN28:77, reminds us of ‘Violin finder general’ Luigi Tarisio, born in Italy in 1796, a great collector of violins who took great pride in scouting out rare finds and purchasing only instruments of the finest quality, but sadly no one knew about his passion and value of his collections until he died because, he kept 246 valuable violins in his attic, including an invaluable masterpiece which he had purchased from someone who also bought it solely as a collector’s item.
In other words, in preserving the instrument, he had robbed the world of all that music the instruments would have produced and others before him had done the same.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God gave us gifts and He expects us to use them and display for the world to learn and appreciate;
2) He will hold us accountable for discovering our talents, developing them to the fullest, and using them to glorify Him and bless others; and
3) If we keep waiting until everything is perfect before acting, nothing will ever get done;
Teach you, this new week, rather than cause your talents to die within you, to be more determined to exhibit your gifts and fly like an eagle!
Pray with me: O Allah! I know Your will for me is not for my foot to slip in any way, guide me from all evil and weaknesses in my stride, bless my every step and the works of my hands that I may continue to Glorify Your name every day of my life. Amin!
Good morning and have a fruitful week!
