IF WE WHO HOLD THINGS AGAINST OTHERS, LEARN TO FORGIVE THEM, OUR GOD WILL EQUALLY FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND MOVE US FORWARD!

Divine Wisdom: The passage, “Let them pardon and forgive. Or do you not love that Allah should forgive you?” Surah An-Noor – QN24:22, reminds those who have had others abuse, cheat on, lie about, fire and otherwise mistreat them, or have failed themselves and are now asking for how they can get beyond past mistakes and become successful again that, whatever our particular hurt, the solution is not in feeding or denying them, but in forgiving and letting them go or we continue to hurt ourselves. So let us remember that the inability to forgive affects us spiritually and psychologically, and furthermore, has a detrimental effect on our health and eventual progress.

In other words, whatever we refuse to forgive and let go of, we will carry with us forever, like an albatross around our necks.

So let the knowledge that:
1) The greater the offence, the harder it is to forgive, but forgive, we must;
2) Choosing not to forgive somebody is like eating poison and expecting the other person to die; and
3) If we who hold things against others, learn to forgive them, our God will equally forgive us our sins and perfect all things in our favour;

Teach you, this new week, in order to keep moving forward in life, “Adopt forgiveness, instruct what is right, and turn away from the ignorant.” Surah Al-A’raaf – QN7:199; to let go of everything that may have hurt us and be at peace with the past!

Pray with me: Ya Allah Al-Ghaffar! Pardon my shortcomings, forgive all my sins and grant me the understanding to pardon and forgive others, that You May cause Your face to continue to shine upon me and all that’s mine, by Your Mercy. Amin!

Good morning and have a fabulous week!
