Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“O You who believe! Enter absolutely into peace (Islam). Do not follow in the footsteps of satan. He is an outright enemy to you.”QN2:208; reminds those of us who get easily disturbed when we have to do two or three things at a time and the others, who are energised by fielding several projects at once that, Satan studies us carefully and knows which buttons to push in order to steal our peace and destract us.
In other words, to live a life of peace, we must study ourselves and know what and who our peace stealers are.
So this new month of Rabi’II and even thereafter, let the knowledge that:
1) Satan uses many of the same tactics on everyone;
2) By allowing ourselves to get overly tired, we are opening a door for Satan;
3) In the middle of life’s storms, we can be anchored by God’s peace; and
4) To break free, we have to be honest with ourselves;
Teach you, to always have our mind fixed on God, take things easy, perform our salat regularly and on point, give freely to the needy, engage much in righteousness acts and thank God it’s Friday!
Pray with me: O Allah! Thank you for the gift of life. We have witnessed the beginning of the year, by Your grace let us witness the end and many more. Perfect our thoughts and acts, that our heart desires may be connected with Your purpose for us, Amin Kunfayakun!
