INTEGRITY IS WHO WE ARE WHEN WE THINK THAT NO ONE ELSE IS WATCHING!

Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Allah is well-acquainted with all you do” Surah Al-Mujaadila – QN58:11 reminds those of us who tend to see officials taking bribes, business leaders demanding kickbacks, investors trading on insider information or look around us at the promiscuity and debauchery all around us only to thank God for not being a part of it all that, integrity is not about regret or seeking to minimise painful consequences or attempting to do damage control, but about honest repentance, making amends and living in a way that guarantees we will do things differently going forward.

In other words, rebuilding our integrity requires us to humbly acknowledge that our thoughts are sometimes not fit to print or that we have hurt others and need to make amends.

So let the knowledge that:
1) So long as we remain upright, our integrity shall guide us;
2) It is who we are when we think that no one is watching; and
3) For others to know who we truly are, we must be willing to be weighed on honest scales;
Teach you, if you have previously walked in falsehood or been involved in deceit, to spend this weekend to commit to total repentance and in doing the needful!

Pray with me: O Allah! I commit myself to you in total repentance. Forgive my shortcomings, renew my heart to enable me to walk in Your ways for a healthy and worthy future here and hereafter. Amin!

Good morning. Jumah Mubarak and a wonderful weekend ahead!

There is love in sharing
