Divine Wisdom: The Passage,
“He strengthened you with His succour, and provided for you sustenance out of the good things of life, so that you might have cause to be grateful” QN8:26, reminds us that, we may be able to determine the number of years required to graduate from university, when we want to get married or get a new Job, and even know the exact effort and approximate timeline required to rise to the top of our profession, but even at that, all of our life can still be training for just one season, one God-given assignment and one purpose.
In other words, when it comes to experiencing the favour of God and making a success of your life, He alone sets the time and release His favour when due.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God works through a complex, but beautiful story arc and one moment of His favour will do more for us than a lifetime of striving;
2) What we so often see as stumbling blocks are really stepping stones which He uses to accomplish His plan and fulfil His purpose in our lives; and
3) It is our obedience to Him and faithfulness in difficult times that bring His favour;
Teach you, this bright Monday morning, that whatever situation that has been giving you sleepless nights, to be faithful, keep on walking and know that it’s a new day to plan and re-strategize. Ma Shaa Allah, it shall be well!
Pray with me: O Allah! Shower Your mercy upon me that my intentions and every move, may go well with Your plans for me, that I may achieve all my heart desires.
