NOTHING SO FULLY CLINCHES FAITH, AS TO BE SO SURE OF THE ANSWER THAT WE CAN THANK GOD FOR IT IN ADVANCE!

Divine Wisdom: The passage, “ I am indeed near! I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them believe in Me…”QN2:186, reminds those who are tempted to think God is not listening to keep believing in Him until we can thank Him for answers, and should our desired answers take a while, we should avoid praying in such ways that it becomes evident that we no longer believe because when we have finished praying we will only discover that our faith has either weakened or is entirely gone.

In other words, if He keeps us waiting, it may not be wrong to mention the matter again, but we must do it in such ways that they imply our faith.

So let the knowledge that:
1) Prayers that pray us out of faith often arise from centring our thoughts on the difficulty rather than on God’s promise;
2) They deny both His promise in His Word and whispered answers, that He gives us in our hearts; and
3) Nothing so fully clinches faith, as to be so sure of the answer that we can thank Him for it in advance;
Teach you, even with the increasing challenges of COVID 19, to watch, stay focused and pray that you do not enter into the temptation of praying yourself out of faith and thank God it’s Friday!

Pray with me: O Allah! This disease is one of Your Soldiers and it affects whoever you want and You give it to whoever You want. O Allah distract the disease from us and our homes and our families and our lands, and our countries, and protect us from what we fear and what we are warned off, for You are The Best Preserver, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Good morning. Blessed Jumah and have a relaxing weekend!
