PRAYER SHOULD BE A NATURAL EXPRESSION OF YOUR MOMENT-BY-MOMENT DEPENDENCE ON GOD!

Divine Wisdom: The passage, “Only he will prosper that brings unto Allah a pure heart.” Surah Ash-Shu’araa – Q26:89; reminds us that prayer, rather than being a public demonstration of how spiritual we are, is about having an intimate talk with our God.

In other words, like breathing, it should be a natural expression of our moment-by-moment relationship with God where He’s the air we breathe and the environment in which we live.

So let the knowledge that “In the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” Surah Ar-Ra’d – Q13:28. Makes you understand that;
1) God listens more to our hearts than the words coming out of our mouths;
2) He’s not grading us on how well we express ourselves, and
3) Through prayer we can live in continuous contact with Him;
Teach you, when you pray, not to worry about getting the words right, but rather, just do it as a natural expression of your moment-by-moment dependence on God!

Pray with me: O Allah! I thank You for believing in me and my ability, help me to remember You always, purify my heart for Your glory to manifest in my life and those of my offsprings by Your grace, amin.

Good morning. Jumah Kareem and a lovely weekend!
