Divine Wisdom: The passage, “Your Lord has not forsaken you nor has He detested you. Surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before” QN93:3-4, reminds us that, between our present position and our ‘promised land’ we will face issues that have to be resolved and just like great leaders who know that the best way to escape a problem is to solve it, instead of continuing to see them as problems, we should confront them head-on and solve them.
In other words, rather than treat problems as special, learn to treat them as normal. It’s only then, that life will be easy and more meaningful to you.
So let the knowledge that:
1) The problems we are facing today are just opportunities for God to do for us or through us that which we cannot do by ourselves;
2) Whether working, dealing with family or just minding our own business and trying to relax, we should expect problems; and
3) Even though problems needs to be solved, but see those problems that are anticipated as opportunities;
Teach you, this new week, that when things go according to plan, to be pleasantly surprised, but if they don’t, and you have planned accordingly, not to get so frustrated, but be rest assured that “Your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied” QN93:5
Pray with me: O Allah! You have promised that whoever comes to You walking, You shall come at speed. I beseech You this morning to forgive my shortcomings, ease my tasks for me and bless my every step with Your speed of Grace.
