Counting the ‘odd’ nights; Night 21
The Prophet (s.a.w) said, “Ramadan has come to you. It is a month of blessing, in which Allah covers you with blessing, for He sends down Mercy, decreases sins and answers prayers.” (Hadith)
That is the focal point of ‘candles to light your path’ this Ramadan… ‘Ramadan has come to you’….. meaning the decree to fast has come to you.
In other words, fasting is a worship that links the soul in true and sincere faith in Allah.
In essence, when you abstain from food and drink, abstain from sins, abstain from bad thoughts; you consciously and or unconsciously increase in good deeds, patience, and kindness. The resultant effect is a renewed you and positive improvement in character leading to healthy relationships, answered prayers for greater successes and victorious achievements. Ma Shaa Allah!
Pray with me: Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us constant mercy from Your grace. Verily You are the Giver of bounties without measure.
Good morning. Ramadan Kareem!!!
