“And certainly, we shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones; who, when afflicted with calamity, say: “Truly! To Allah we belong and truly unto Him shall we return.” They are those on whom are the blessings and will be forgiven from their Lord, and they are those who receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones.” Surat Al-Baqarah – QN2:155-157
And in it “Verily, indeed this is a sign for those who reflect…” Surat Ar-Rum – QN30:21
Pray with me: O Allah! I dedicate my fasting to You and We come to You with a resolution to make this Ramadan my turning point for good. Please do not place on us any difficulties more than we have the strength to bear. Do not make the world the greatest of our sorrows, nor the limit of the source of our knowledge, embellish us with Your grace of patience and endurance, and cause us to come out of this pandemic alive in good health and stronger in faith. Amin.
