“Whatever you spend of good must be for Parents and kindred and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer….”QN2:215
That is the focal point of ‘candles to light your path’ this Ramadan….. that your charity, zakah, good deeds ‘must be’ first for your ‘parents’, ‘relatives’, then the ‘Orphans’, and so on ……..
With an understanding that charity begins at home and even the Prophet (s.a.w), on being asked to name the best charitable act, He replied, “the charity given to your poor relative who is hostile to you or scorns you stands out as the best kind of charity.”Hadith.
Beloved, do not care, but maintain family ties and give freely, because your “reward is secure with Allah”QN2:274. Increase your acts of ‘giving’ this blessed month of Ramadan and you shall definitely reap the reward in multiple folds. Ma Shaa Allah!
Pray with me: O Allah! Purify my heart and take me closer towards Your pleasure. Keep me away from Your anger and punishment, and accept my every acts of Ibaadah.
Asalaam Alaikun Waramotulai Wabarakatuhu!
Good Morning and have a Blessed Tuesday.
