Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Do your duty to Allah and fear Him; And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause as much as you can, so that you may be successful.” Surah Al-Maeda – QN5:35, reminds us that, unlike the man who refused to share the secret of success with his friend because to him, it was a secret, ‘success’ as God defines it, is not a secret and as He repeatedly says in His Word, what He wants most is for us to be successful in life, but His plans of success for each of us differs.
In other words, success comes from discovering God’s will for our lives and following them to the letter.
So let the knowledge that:
1) When God created man, one of the first things He tasked him with, was to be fruitful and multiply;
2) Man’s ordained success came with a caveat which is non-negotiable – He only blesses us in order to make us blessings to others – QN28:77, and
3) Our beginning may be small, but as we progress in life with Him on our side, we will increase abundantly;
Teach you, this new week, to seek the good pleasure of God by carefully following the terms of His commandment!
Pray with me: O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You enough; You are as You have praised Yourself. Ya Rabb! cause Your face to continue to shine upon me and all that belongs to me, that we may do good deeds that pleases You and have cause to praise You till eternity. Amin.
