THE MARK OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY IS NOT HOW MUCH WE LEARN, BUT HOW MUCH WE PUT INTO PRACTICE!

Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“We hear and we obey. And such are the successful.” QN24:51, reminds us that, unlike some people who say hypocritically that “We believe in Allah,” and go on to do otherwise “Is not Allah most knowing of what is within the breasts of all creatures?” QN29:10; is a proof to us that if we acquire Knowledge without constantly practising what we learn, we tend to become dull of assimilating and so slow to learn that, by the time we ought to be entering university, we need to go back and learn our alphabets all over and by the time we should be communicating the truth as teachers/mentors, we need others to communicate the truth to us.

In other words, the mark of spiritual maturity is not how much we learn, but how much we put into practice.

So let the knowledge that:
1) In the spiritual realm the opposite of ignorance is not knowledge, but obedience;
2) We are only mature if we have trained ourselves through constant use of Scripture; and
3) In the long term, we retain about 10 per cent of what we hear, 50 per cent of what we see, and 90 per cent of what we do;
Teach you, instead of just listening to God’s Word, to always do what it says! TGIF
