Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“The holy Spirit hath delivered it from Your Lord with truth, that it may confirm the faith of those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered to Allah.”QN16:102, reminds us that, the two things that we can’t live without are the ability to know what God is saying to us and, how to have an intimate relationship with Him and at those times when we are weak and discouragement has taken such a stronghold of our hearts that we just can’t imagine a way out of our circumstances, the Holy Spirit who intercedes for those who believe according to the will of God, can search our hearts and intercede on our behalf.
In other words, there will be times we just can’t trust our own wisdom or the advice of those closest to us.
So let the knowledge that:
1) One of the most wonderful things that God did, was to fashion us in His own image and breath His spirit into us;
2) Establishing a friendly relationship with God is not on a hit-and-run basis, rather, spend time in communicating with him always, to build intimacy; and
3) Just as God loves us and uses the Holy Spirit to show us what to do, He also empowers us to do it;
Teach you, when you don’t know how to express the depth of your desires and feelings, or realise what you need, to simply ask for His help!
Pray with me: O Allah! Make light in my heart, light in my vision, light in my hearing, light to my right, light to my left, light before me, light behind me, make a light for me. Make light in my hair, light in my skin, light in my flesh, light in my blood, and light in my bones. Make light all around me, by Your Grace.
