Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them…” Surah Ibrahim – QN14:34, reminds those of us who, tend to go through life with so much ingratitude while living life in fear with hidden talents, just like our muscles, when we fail to exercise the skills which God has so graciously endowed us with, they will begin to weaken and slowly waste away and so will our spirit of gratification weaken.
In other words, to be increasingly effective in life, we must follow our passion, grow our character, and broaden our experiences.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God expects us to make the most of that which He has so graciously given to us – QN67:15;
2) No one reaches full development all at once; and
3) With study, feedback, and continuous practice, good teachers can become better teachers who in time, will grow to be great teachers;
Teach you, like an athlete preparing for the next Olympics, to identify your abilities and start putting them to work and show more gratitude to He who created you and “made the earth and all that is in it subservient to you”QN67:15
Pray with me: O Allah! I thank You for Your goodness upon me and my family. I give You all praises. As we step into this new month of Dhu’l Hijjah, please help us to hold on tightly to Your precious promises and help us all to be strong and courageous. Channel our minds towards reaching the fullness of our potentials. Pour out Your unconditional love on us all and fill our hearts with Your perfect peace by Your grace, Amin.
Good morning and have an awesome week!
