Divine Wisdom: The passage, “those who persist in denial and sinful living have their hearts sealed against faith.” Surah An-Nisaa – QN4:155, reminds us that, because he who doubts and is unstable in faith, is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. The Quran advises those who are afraid to make decisions in case things go wrong, to ask of God, who gives to all liberally to ask in faith, with no doubt in our minds and it will be given to us.
In other words, those who doubt the power of the Almighty should never expect to receive anything from Him.
So let the knowledge that:
1) When we fail to make decisions, others will make them for us and we will have to live with the consequences of our indecision;
2) If we get it wrong, we will learn from our mistake and know what not to do next time around; and
3) To succeed in life, we need wisdom plus courage to make bold decisions;
Teach you, this new month and before stepping out each day, to recommit yourself to the service of God, and then pray for strength and wisdom to be decisive in all circumstances!
