Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“And your Lord says: Call upon Me, I will answer you” Surah Al-Mu’min – QN40:60, reminds us to “Seek help with patient, perseverance and prayer, for God is with those who patiently persevere.” Surah Al-Baqara – QN2:153; Nevertheless, “Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, ‘To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.’ They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance.” QN2:155-157
In other words, God is aware of what is beneficial for an individual as well as for the entire creation, whose lives are inextricably linked with one another.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God delights to increase the faith of His Beloved;
2) When praying, if we ask Him to do something for us, His answer will always be, Yes; and
3) Trials, obstacles, difficulties and sometimes defeats, are the very food of faith;
Teach you, even if you have to pray about something for like ages without some visible sign of an answer, yet you look around you and see no signs of regrets, then “which of the favours of your Lord, would you deny?” Surah AR-Rahman – QN55; this new year Hijrah 1442, to keep praying and believing in Him, cos He is right by your side and watching your back. Ma Shaa Allah, Alhamdulillah!
Pray with me: My Lord! grant me that I should be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed on me and on my parents and that I should do good such as You are pleased with, and include me, by Your mercy, in the ranks of Your righteous servants. Surah Al-Naml – QN27:19. Amin
