WE DISLIKE CHANGE AND TRY TO RESIST OR POSTPONE IT FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, BUT IN THE END, IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT BRINGS GROWTH!

Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows and you know not.” Surah Al-Baqara – QN2:216, reminds us that, as they say, a rut is just a grave with the ends kicked out and once we get into one, it is hard to get out, especially if it is comfortable; but because there are two kinds of change, the one we must personally make and that which only God can make, we will never become what He wants us to be, or all that we could be, for as long as we resist change and insist on staying as we are.

In other words, we dislike change and try to resist or postpone it for as long as possible, but in the end, it is the only thing that brings growth.

So let the knowledge that:
1) God’s goal for our lives is to develop in us the character qualities of Accomplishing His purpose for us, which cannot be accomplished through self-effort;
2) Wise people are willing to change their minds, but the foolish never do; and
3) Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction shall be honoured and successful;
Teach you, this new week, if you are struggling with change or doubting to make up your mind on that shift, to keep drawing on His power each and every day!
