Divine Wisdom: The passage, “To each is a goal to which Allah turns him, so strive together toward all that is good.” Surah Baqara – QN2:148, reminds those who, because they think too highly of themselves, tend to get easily offended when someone tries to correct them, to remember that timely advice is like a golden apple, just as valid criticism is like a gold earring.
In other words, when looked at from the right perspective, every experience in life is a school and every acquaintance, a potential teacher.
So let the knowledge that:
1) Life owes us nothing except an opportunity to grow;
2) The greatest indictment against not knowing is not learning; and
3) We need people in our lives who are willing to help us get from where we are to where we need to go;
Teach you to, in your interactions, observe boundaries, respect others, listen before you speak and grab every opportunity to learn!
Pray with me: O Allah! Help me not to fear the future but to boldly trust that you are in control when my emotions plunge me down, and when I am in despair. Please, place good people, kind people, along my path and help me have the wisdom to make the right choices. Amin!
