WHEN GOD WANTS US TO ACT, HE MAKES IT CLEAR AND AS WE WAIT, HE DIRECTS OUR THOUGHT TO THE NEXT STEPS TO TAKE!

Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Wait patiently for your Lord’s decree, for surely you are in Our sight; and celebrate the praises of your Lord while you stand forth” Surah At-Tur – QN 52:48, reminds us that, worry is choosing to fret instead of turning our problems completely over to God and by cultivating the discipline of frequent prayer, we discover the ability to remain calm and quiet, and though we are tempted to think our prayer was ineffective or that we somehow failed because our anxiety returned, perhaps even as soon as we said ‘Amen’, we should discipline our minds not to worry.

In other words, we solve our problems by handing them over to God and as we wait on Him, we will find relief from fear’s grip on our spirit. Ma Shaa Allah!

So let the knowledge that:
1) Persistent anxiety is a sign that we need more time with God and even admit that we are afraid He will not handle them soon enough;
2) When He wants us to act, He makes it clear and as we wait, He will direct our thoughts to the next steps to take; and
3) If after praying, our emotions are still in turmoil, we should pray more, extol His greatness, continue seeking answers and try to find a solution;
Teach you, this bright Monday morning, if there is nothing He leads you to do, to simply hands-off and let Him take it from there!

Pray with me: O Allah! I seek Your help in all my endeavours. Remove every form of anxiety and worry from my soul, that I may have complete faith in You. Only You can order my steps to greater successes and grant me internal peace, O Most Gracious Most Compassionate Lord! Amin.

Good morning and have a fabulous week!
