Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Allah knows those who really strive and those who show fortitude in His ways” Surah Aal-I-Imraan – QN3:142, reminds us that, as we strive and pray, we should also think of blessing others; just as rather than the words ‘I’, or ‘me’, or ‘my’, or ‘mine’, what we will find in Surah Fathia is “You alone ‘we’ worship, You alone ‘we’ ask for help. Show ‘us’ the straight path”; he or she who prays with selfish interest at heart as in ‘Lord bless me, Lord favour me, just me and no more,’ will not get a favourable response from heaven.
In other words, the Passage that says, whatever we ask when we pray, believing that we will receive them will eventually be ours, is not a blank Cheque.
So let the knowledge that:
1) If we delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us whatever our hearts desire, but first, our desires must be in harmony with His will;
2) He knows what we want, He knows why we want them and He blesses us so we can become blessings to others; and
3) When our goal is to bless others, He goes to work and answers our prayers in ways we never imagined possible;
Teach you, if you are still looking out for only your own interest that, the only person working on your behalf, is you! Hence, this new week start by thinking of the numerous people in your life and around you who needs help and include them in your prayers to receive chains of blessings.
Pray with me: O Allah! Thank You for Your love. Your face I seek for your multiple and endless blessings and I commit to worshipping You through impacting people near and far, by Your Mercy. Amin!
Good morning and have a favour filled week!
