Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Satan is your enemy, so treat him as an enemy, he only Invites his followers to enter the blazing fire.” Surah Faatir – QN35:6, reminds us that, our areas of vulnerability will change as the seasons of our lives change, but the truth is that we will always be tempted in some way, but the good news is that, just as God who understands our weaknesses, showed us in The Quran various narrations of temptations and triumphs, as signs for men of understanding, we too can be tempted and still be triumphant if we keep standing on the Word of God.
In other words, when we come boldly before Him, we will receive mercy and the grace to succeed where we need it the most.
So let the knowledge that:
1) The temptations in our lives are no different from what others experience and because God is faithful, He will never allow them to overwhelm us;
2) He has given us power over those of our enemies and nothing they do can ever hurt us; and
3) Once we have put on every piece of His armour, we will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil and thereafter, stand firm after the battle;
Teach you, this first Friday in the month of Safar, that whenever you are tempted, to go to Him and He will show you a way out!
Pray with me: O Allah! Truly temptation is of the devil. Please help me to overcome every form of temptation and grant me to triumph in all my endeavours by Your mercy. Amin!
Good morning. Jumah Mubarak and a wonderful weekend ahead!
