Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“Read, in the name of thy Lord who created, created man from a clot of blood. Recite, for thy Lord is most Beneficent; Who taught by the pen, taught man what he knew not” QN96:1-5, is the first revelation to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) when he was asked to “Read”, to which he replied “I cannot read” but was enforced to start reading as in QN53:4-9 and QN96 and by the grace of The Almighty, became the most eloquent, best of mankind, the purest, the most learned, the Seal of all Prophets, Ma Shaa Allah! This reminds those who see visions of things God wants to do through them, but because they neither have the training, resources, skills, connections or even the strength to accomplish them alone; think it can never happen, that, it is within the power of our God to impregnate us with a vision, inspire us with creative ideas, introduce us to the right people and empower us to do the job.
In other words, when we damn the consequences, give ourselves completely to God and take extreme risks, the results are always miraculous.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God always has a plan in store for us;
2) Not according to our social status, job description, finances or what we deserve, but according to His word; and
3) He will make it happen and no one else will get the credit; Teach you, even as you unwind and celebrate the birth of the Prophet (s.a.w), this beautiful Monday, to be inspired by the life of the Prophet (s.a.w), to stay clearly focused on the reason for the season!
Pray with me: O Allah! Teach me to stay focused on Your words and walk in Your ways. Let the joy of this season reflect Your glory in my life. Make me an inspiration to others by Your Mercy.
Good morning. Happy Maulud Nabiyi and have a joyful week!
