Divine Wisdom: The passage, “Verily, in the Remembrance of Allah do minds find rest and satisfaction” QN13:28, reminds those of us who are discouraged because we feel we are in the same position or in difficulty or keep committing the same sins over and over again that, just like soaking a sponge in water leaves it dripping and filled to capacity, when we soak our minds in the remembrance of Allah, feeding on His words by the Quran full of Dhikr (QN38:1) and our lips keeps moving making mention of Him, we will get to that stage where our first recourse to every temptation to do wrong, will be a ‘Spirit and Word’ empowered response.
In other words, if we keep doing what we have always done, we will keep getting the same results, rather start now by making calculated efforts now to rescue yourself from failing efforts.
So let the knowledge that:
1) The word of God is the truth, living, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword;
2) A time-tested prescription from it for making us whole is that only when properly applied can both the young and old stay pure; and
3) When we drench ourself in His remembrance and consume His words, they will become to us, the joy and rejoicing of our hearts;
Teach you, if you are serious about wanting to walk in victory, to get yourself thoroughly soaked in His Word and in His remembrance always, to receive His forgiveness, mercy and great rewards that will gladden your heart perpetually!
Pray with me: O Allah! I thank You for believing in me and my ability, help me to remember You always, purify my heart by helping me to feed and understand Your words. Make Your glory to manifest in my life and those of my offsprings by Your grace. Amin.
