Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“…give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere….They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy” QN2:155-157, reminds us that, the road to success is an uphill one and while trying to climb it, old attitudes will keep trying to resurface and if we let them, they may end up coming back stronger than ever, but the fact that God is for us, means we can do the things we are afraid we can not do and with His help we can overcome all obstacles.
In other words, with God on our side and the right attitude, we can overcome virtually all obstacles in our way.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God wants to set us free from the fearful attitudes that have held us captive for so long and release us to live our lives to our full potential;
2) The prison bars that we are beating against are in our minds and with His help, we can tear them down; and
3) We are closer than we know to become the person He wants us to be;
Teach you, this first Friday in the new year Hijrah 1441AH, to rededicate your life to God, such that at those times when things are just not working out as expected, the spirit of patience, perseverance and trust in God, can keep us walking!
Pray with me: O Allah! Pour down constancy and abundance of Grace in my affairs and channel my attitude into shining Your face upon me and my household to live our lives to our full potentials and be great achievers.
