Divine Wisdom: The passage,
“those who are in the presence of Their Lord are not too proud to do Him service, but they praise Him and prostrate before Him.” Surah Al-Ar’Raaf – QN7:206, reminds us how at the battle of Badr, when the Prophet (s.a.w) and his followers were faced with over 1,000 warriors of the Quraish of Mecca, overwhelmed by the huge force and they definitely were no match to them, but with the confidence that Allah will not forsake them, Allah helped the Prophet (s.a.w) and his team by sending down rain which provided them with water enough for their needs and made the sandy ground firm for them; while the firm clay of the Meccans’ side became muddy, making their stand and manoeuvres difficult. If we listen to God in our times of need and follow His instructions to the letter, no matter how silly they may sound to us, we will not need to fire a single shot or take casualties and in record time, we will gather the spoils of battle.
In other words, worship is a powerful weapon and one that turns even the fiercest battle in our favour.
So let the knowledge that:
1) God always gives us amazing strategies for victory;
2) When we worship Him, He empowers us to triumph in spiritual battles and face challenges headlong; and
3) Each time we find ourselves in challenges that we are not equipped to win and start praising Him, the forces of Heaven will come together to support us;
